About the Author
Andrew Ruhan is CEO of Sentrum and Chairman and CEO of Bridgehouse Capital. He is a veteran of the property industry in Europe and a founder of Kingspark in the early 90s, one of the largest developers of commercial premises in the UK. The company was sold in 1998 for $250m, and changed its name to Prologis, which is now the largest developer of industrial and warehousing property in Europe. Later that year, Andrew joined forces with his brother, Gabriel, who had spent several years in the technology sector, and formed Global Switch, the world's largest carrier-neutral colocation company. Again, after a period of successful and rapid expansion, 66% of the company was sold for $200m in March 2000.The following year Andrew was the recipient of the prestigious Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the year award.
