About the Author
E-Business Strategist and Architect Deborah Collier has worked in e-business and technology for the last 13 years. She has helped both SME's and large international corporations such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, John Lewis, Kenwood, Hewlett Packard, Rolls Royce, JPMorgan Chase, setting up and training Web management teams, implementing e-business systems and e-commerce, advising on strategy and management of e-business projects, as well as leading development projects to fruition. Her insights have appeared in MarketingWeek and the National and International press. She regularly writes articles for publications such as 'Start Your Busines Magazine' and the 'Telegraph Business Club'. She spent two years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers training and advising Partners and Marketing Teams around the globe, on e-risk management, accessibility, design best practice, e-marketing, metrics analysis, and use of their content publishing system. She also led several development projects and requirements workstreams, such as web site accessibility and the integration of applications into the PwC Global Enterprise Portal. As well as running her own e-commerce agency in 2001 for SME's, she has created, built, managed and branded several Web sites such as learnebusiness.com and a music portal, which received 24/25 score for branding by New Media Age Magazine. She has an M.Sc. in Business Information Systems, as well as project management, Web and technical qualifications.
