Mike Jochimsen is a 25+ year veteran of the technology industry. He is an alliances manager at Emulex and over the past five years, has managed its strategic partnerships. He has been involved in the T10 Protection Information (T10-PI) initiative for that entire five years. Previously, Mike spent time at EMC and PeopleSoft managing strategic partnerships and prior to that, worked at FreeBorders selling offshore IT outsourcing services. While at EMC, he helped drive the eXtensible Access Method (XAM) initiative with IBM through its formative stages and submission to the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) as a Technical Working Group. Mike got his start in high technology as a mainframe programmer at Chevron Corporation in the 1980s. Mike received his bachelor of arts in management information systems (MIS) from Washington State University and his master of business administration from Saint Mary’s College of California.
