The Web Marketing Association evaluates intranet platforms annually, with previous winners including Disney Consumer Products, General Electric, FedEx, MetLife Merrill Lynch and DHL.
Intra, created with HR in mind, is a set of social applications and tools allowing the automation of internal processes and facilitating day-to-day tasks. Because of a rapid growth of Future Processing, the team developed the platform to improve internal communication with a hi-tech digital workspace solution.
Alongside recognition from the WebAward Competition, the functionality has also received praise by clients from Poland, Great Britain and the United States. Future Processing received a high score in every category of the award, setting high standards for the competition.
Filip Kałamaga, Product Manager at Future Processing, commented “This is the first award in a short history of Intra and we believe it’s not the last one. The platform delivered by Future Processing helps to build and strengthen positive team relationships, enhances work effectiveness and smooths internal communication and better transparency of processes in the company, which results in improved engagement of employees.”
With its social modules, employees are free to share their knowledge, opinions, success stories and information regarding company life. Intra.hr also reduces errors associated with the handling of office tasks. It automates processes connected to requesting and recording absences and business trips.
The portal has been developed since 2005. Based on Microsoft SharePoint Online and Responsive Web Design, the system can be used on multiple platforms (PCs and mobile). It integrates with all Microsoft products and the tools of such brands as IBM, SAP, Sage and IFS. Intra.hr has been already implemented in, among others, MPWiK Wrocław and Future Processing where it’s twin version is called ‘My Future”.
