Alongside the iPad launch, Apple announced its revenue numbers for the past quarter and the number of companies that either have Apple kit installed, or are looking seriously at the equipment, has gone up significantly.
According to Tim Cook, Apple’s COO, around 70% of the Fortune 100 is either deploying or testing iPhones, while in the UK the FTSE 100 has around 50% of companies going through trials or deployments. The latest research by KACE into attitudes towards desktops had Apple doubling its market share in the enterprise desktop market by the end of 2010.
